The change to bi-weekly and weekly payments is a good move by Clickbank. The only thing is it may seem a bit confusing during the transition period. At first glance, the new payment visual representation it seems confusing as shit. After studying it for a while, I think i have it figured out.

Okay, so all you really need to know is that the September 1 - 16 pay period has been extended one day to the 17th. Even though when you look at your Clickbank account now it already shows weekly payment periods, this won’t affect your pay period in any way. You will still receive the payment for Sept. 1 - 17 at the end of this month as usual. I believe they just started to show you weekly periods retroactively to get users accustomed to the new change.

So that said, your new payment payment schedule begins today. If you have opted into weekly payments (as I have), your pay period starts today (17th) and runs till next Wednesday (24th). If you didn’t opt into weekly payments, you will automatically be shifted to bi-weekly payments and your pay period will run to the following Wednesday (October 1st). From then on, you will receive 52 payments a year if you’re weekly and 26 if you’re bi-weekly. This should certainly help you manage your budget a bit better knowing you have money coming into your account quicker.

Make sense now? Good

So what exactly is the method they are referring to?

Well, be skeptical of what you read because most of these tricks don’t involve some special hack in the casino website, but rather a type of progressive betting system that in theory will increase your probability of winning. Most will offer up some type of variance on the Martingale betting system, where you double up your bet after each loss in a roulette style of game.

These can indeed help you win sometimes - but so can random blind luck. Don’t fall for the sales pitch saying a certain formula of betting can guarantee you to win. Trust me - if there was a guaranteed way for everyone to make $400 a day on these casino sites using this method, they wouldn’t be around very long

I remember worrying about big Clickbank checks being sent in the mail. I had another one sent to me for $8000 and I was scared that it would be get lost or stolen. But Clickbank had always been super reliable with their payments and they usually arrived on predictable dates. There are many CPA companies that you can sign up with and find offers to promote. Some of the more popular ones are NeverblueAds, MaxBounty and AzoogleAds. Many of the offers you can find in these companies include some sort of giveaway or survey type offer and will pay once the visitor enters a valid email.

So what’s a good way to promote these types of ads? Well, there are quite a few techniques that will work, but I’m going to show you one very simple way of promoting them.

Here is the page I came across with the CPA offer. No, that’s not my page, but you can see that it is just a simple page that lets the person vote which hockey player is better. Once the person clicks, they are taken to the offer page to fill out a form and win a free prize. Many people like filling out these type of poll or survey pages and if you get paid around $1 for each one, it can quickly add up.

Now, how do you get a large volume of people to see this page? Well, the best way would be to target cheap content keywords in adwords that will show up on pages with adsense. In this example, you would target hockey keywords and create an ad saying who is the better player, Gretzky or Lemeiux? Oftentimes, you can get really cheap content keywords as low as 1 cent. That allows you over 100 clicks on your ad and still run a profit if just 1 person signs up.

Important! Just remember that you need to geo-target your ads because CPA offers are very limited as to which countries they allow people to sign up from.

Anyways, I decided to take a look at it again today and it seems to be working now. So it’s time to embed my first youtube video with adsense code.

If you are seeing the above video then I guess it worked. Youtube will choose the video for your website based on its content so I’m not really sure what video you will be seeing. Also, you are able to customize the color of the player (I’ve chosen a blue color to match my site, sorta).

It would be interesting to see if the click-through rates on youtube videos with adsense are higher than regular adsense ads.

Alright, so the Internet is a buzz with this brand new product thats just been launched. It’s called “The Top Secret Magic Code” that when added to any site you have causes your site (or even any site) to magically start making money.

Well, sounds too good to be true once again right? Time to give this product a real review and see if it can live up to the hype. I’m a little skeptical about magic code, but I sure gotz the magic stick, so here we go.

As you can see on the Top Secret Magic Code website, it says you just Just add this “magic code” (it’s not adsense) and once added, you just sit back and let the money just start pouring into your pocket!

Okay, so now you’re dying to know what exactly this code is. Well, I can’t exactly undermine other people’s hard work and just give it away to you. I can however reveal that the “Top Secret Magic Code” does involve putting advertisements on your website. Most of these ads are of the CPA variety because they payout higher than adsense.

It also reveals some neat tricks to get more visitors to your website, some of which you may have to pay for though. Think of it as putting a different angle on the good-old arbitrage techniques that many people used to make money with adsense in the past. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, this product will be of very good use to you.

At the end of the day, it’s till all about getting traffic. You can put the magic code on your website and if nobody comes then you still won’t be making money. If you do have some decent traffic, it’s worth checking out some new insights and techniques discussed in this new product.

People are always wondering - is it really worth it just to hide an affiliate link since the average user won’t even realize it’s there? Well, there is another advantage to having redirected URLS rather than just for aesthetic purposes.

Imagine that you have your affiliate link on many pages on the Internet, such as an article, or your squidoo page etc. If that URL ever needs changing, you will have to find all the locations you used and make the change which can be quite time consuming. Well, if you do a proper cloaking technique, you can manage all your links from different pages into one file location on your own server.

The technique I use is pretty simple using a bit of PHP coding (although it can be any server side programming language). Create a folder on your server where you want to keep all your affiliate link files and name it something simple such as “go” or “links.” Now create a new PHP file for each of the products you want to link to and put this line of code in.

Lets called it product1.php and put this code in:

That’s it. Now you can reference that file from any a tag on any site where you are promoting the product.

If the link ever needs updating or changing, you only have to change that one file located on your server.

Advanced Cloaking with Tracking

Now, if you’re read for the next step, you’ll want to be able to pass a tracking variable so you can see where a sale was made from. Clickbank products have a field you can pass called the TID and CJ it’s called SID. Regardless of what it’s called, it’s important to pass this tracking variable because it will show up when a sale is made which referring link it came from.

So all you need to make is a tiny adjustment to the code. Here it is:

and when you reference the link, add on some code after the ?tid= to help you track where that link came from:

In this case, I used “abc” as an example. You’ll want to use some tracking code sequence that makes sense to you for when you retrive it later. If the link is coming from your homepage top banner, you could call it hptp1, or something that makes sense later. This way, you’ll know that the link that created the sale was from your homepage and top banner.

So there you have it. Happy cloaking

The first thing you will need is a website where you can host the pay per click ads. Your site can be about pretty much anything at all and the contextual systems will match up ads to fit your content. Since Pay per click payouts are generally small, you will need to have either a) a lot of traffic, or b) a lot of websites with these ads. So which method should you think about if you want to get started?

Although, there are different schools of thought on this, I would tend to prefer to build up one quality website or blog, rather than have many websites that are not frequently updated. If you can create quality content and receive a decent amount of traffic, you can start making some good money with PPC programs.

Some people can fall into the trap of wanting to create pages just for making money. Often times these are referred to as MFA (Made For Adsense) pages, where they contain very little content and are very ad-heavy. MFA pages can be effective at times for making money, but overall the poor quality of these pages gives a very bad experience for the visitor and further dilute the Internet with more rubbish. Also, Google will be cracking down on these types of pages, so you might get your account shut down if you have these types of pages.

If you’re starting with a get paid per click program, I would recommend coming up with a good site with many pages of quality content. Once you have a solid foundation in place, there are many ways to optimize your ad placements, colors and sizes that can significantly boost your income. The videos were very helpful to explains ways to squeeze the most out of your adsense pay per click income.

To get backlinks to your website, you either will have to promote with other webmasters (link exchanges, comment posting on other sites, etc.), or do a bit of self-promoting. Self-promoting can be a fine line to walk as it can be interpreted as being spam, but at least you don’t have to harass other webmasters to exchange links.

The tip I am going to show you involves using the share feature of Google Reader to promote your posts. It’s really quite simple. All you have to do is subscribe to your own site’s RSS feed in your Google Reader. When you want to promote your site’s post, click the “Share” button and it will automatically be added to your share page.

You can also grab the link to your shared items page and add it to your blogroll or link list to complete the circle.

The best part of using this method is that your shared page is hosted on a Google.com domain which of course has a higher authority for the Google search. Just remember, every link counts!

Took a nice extended break from blogging over the past few months, which is why you haven’t seen any new posts lately. I had been working hard making money online and at my day job over the past few years and it felt really good to take time off and reap some of the rewards. Went on a couple of vacations and got me a new car!!

Anyways, I’ve been itching to get back and bring this site up to speed. I’ve had to upgrade the software and delete about a billion spam comments though! I’ve also noticed that my mailing list sign-up hasn’t worked. Sorry about that folks!
