Get Paid to Chat

A lot of people always want to know if there is really a way to get paid to chat. Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? Lets face it, no company is going to throw money at you to sit there and chat away unless there was something it for them.

Well, before you give up hope on this “dream job” there is a new website has emerged recently that actually pays you to chat, message your friends and have your profile and photos viewed.

The site is called Yuwie and it basically is an exact Myspace clone, except that it pays out a small percentage of it’s advertising revenue to the user.

So how does it work? Well, sites like Myspace and Facebook make huge amounts of advertising revenue because they have such huge user bases and billions of page impressions. So basically, they are making money off of you, the user. What Yuwie has decided is that it would split some of those advertising dollars and give it back to its users. Seems only fair right? Best of all, it’s totally 100% free and will remain that way.

This revenue sharing model seems to become more popular on Internet websites as users are starting to realize that they are the main commodity for this companies. Another site that employs the same principle is Squidoo.com.

So, now I bet you’re thinking okay, where’s the catch? Believe it or not, there isn’t really a huge catch, but don’t expect to quit your day job anytime soon. The reason is that the percentage of the advertising dollars that the user gets is only 10 per cent. Depending on how much the advertisers are willing to pay Yuwie, lets say that 50 cents per 1000 page views, that means you will only be getting 5 cents for every 1000 pages viewed.

Well, obviously Yuwie knew that this wouldn’t attract many new people, so what they implemented as a multi-level marketing aspect to it. So not only do you get paid for your impressions, but impressions of any friends you refer, and friends they refer and so on for 10 levels deep. So in theory, you could making thousands of dollars a month if you have enough referral layers in your account.

But as with any other pyramid or MLM chain, the suckers at the bottom get nothing while the ones at the top get all the cash. Just make sure you become one of the early adopters so you can reap the benefits of being at the top of the pyramid.
